Hoopoe family in our old olive tree

We were so blessed with the presence of a hoopoe family who actually mated here on the old tree and then had their nest in the tree and brought up their little baby-birds.

I had to hide under the Avocado tree to film them, while they were feeding.

Now they have flown away- but sometimes I see them flying across the garden and then I feel proud, because I think they know me now!
